Saving Seeds…. because someday you may be very happy you did.

So, why do we save seeds?  because that’s where food comes from, why do we care about food?

Because we are what we eat.

Seeds matter more than you currently realize, and someday, if YOU allow all the food to become GMO, then and only then will you truly understand.

In the meantime, for those of you who are into food and into perpetuating your own food supply, here is an extremely simple method for cleaning seed.

Seed needs to be cleaned so that it remains unspoilt and doesn’t rot.

Part 5 – OK, the sky is falling, what do I do, parting thoughts to ponder=]

What you can do to make a change  and what others are doing –

The modifications to nature are not going unnoticed!  Already we have two global seed banks with the express purpose of saving as much of the natural flora and fauna as possible before it is lost .  Not all loss is due to Monsanto of course, and never let yourself for a moment believe that I have left them alone to shoulder the burden!  Man in general has a way of killing off many species of plant and animal in our own never ending and insatiable drive to control and pave over ever increasing masses of land.  And one only need look into the mirror to see the reason why other men/women do these things.  It is because we as consumers demand it of them.  If no one bought what they sold, well, they wouldn’t sell it would they!

NOT ROCKET SCIENCE.

YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT.

Granted, Monsanto has very neatly side stepped that situation of supply and demand, the foundation of capitalism, as we will all be eating their food if they continue their advance unchecked.

There are many people putting forth an effort to help stem the tide of this madness.  From grassroots organizations to large groups and even countries.  In an eerily foreshadowing effort, the first two groups here are noted for their work in preserving seeds on a scale that is very grand in scale and beyond most of our comprehension.

There are many groups and organizations as I had earlier mentioned in the seeming “fight” for our food.  It is due to their vast amount that I have focused on only these two as they represent the “Hail Mary” for our species.  What is more telling than making an underground vault for seeds.  If anything could more apocalyptic and telling, I hope to never learn of it.  Between Zombies, seemingly non-stop war and now being vegan and being scared of vegetables and what they may do to me, enough is enough.

One of the most productive measures you can take is the planting of a garden!  In relation to planting a garden, take a course or do some of your own research on how the body, your body, the one you walk around in daily and do stuff with, learn how it works.  Until you understand these two things, you aren’t going to get it.

Planting a garden is so profound in what it can teach you not only about your body and the world you live in, but it can give you, if you are open enough, to a truer understanding of time.  The true meaning of time, seasons, growing.  I know many of you think that your daily routine is based on time and you feel that you get it, I assure you, until you grow something, you don’t know time.

One of the primary reasons all the afore mentioned corruption of the natural flow of things are happening is due to a basic lack of understanding about natural systems and how we interact with them.  While in the face of an overwhelming amount of information which is steeped in government intrigue, James Bond like ploys to dominate the global food supply and needless death with subsequent cover-ups, it seems like this is a mere piddling of a thing. And yet, I beg to differ, this [learning about one’s own body and growing food] is one of the only ways we will effectively bring about the needed change to stop all of this madness from happening.   It is only because I have grown food and learned about my body that I know that what is happening with this company, while scientifically marvelous, has no place in a society filled by human beings, nor in a world governed by nature.

Read labels and only shop organic/local.  Expensive though it may be, have you recently checked into the inconvenience and costs associated with Cancer, Diabetes, Heart Disease, Stroke, Obesity – Et Cetera?

YOU are what YOU eat.

You can actually care about the political process beyond voting day facebook commentary and hold your votes responsible, they are after all the ones who allow for key positions in the gov’t to be held by Monsanto employees

Don’t believe anything you read/hear, including this, do your own research and as always and most importantly, use the tool of common sense.

If of course you can still remember how to use it!

A decent company wouldn’t have so many lawsuits, nor the need to refute so many different things, they are refuting suicides, lawsuits, adverse health effects, I have never seen a company that was truly and legitimately clean have to defend so many topics.

Monsanto is literally charged with everything from murder to bribery, extortion, theft, coercion, frivolous lawsuit, illegal dumping, cover ups…. It truly begs the question does it not?

They are being charged globally.

How the Farmers are getting hornswaggled…

Coming back to the farmer, once everyone starts a process, if you are into competition and market share, making the most money you can etc. it quickly becomes apparent that you will have to go Monsanto’s way, at least it is apparent in the beginning, if you are to keep up with your neighboring farmers.

Reduced need to plow soil in order to control weeds results in less man hours and gasoline expense, being able to plant entire fields rather than rows gives and  reduced damage by insects gives way to greater yields to market.  Of course all of this is tied with the pretty ribbon of ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP.  If you buy our seed, you will be having a more beneficial impact on the environment.

Further, on the website you see the phrase, buy from an independent seed dealer near you.  Well, buying from an independent dealer is all well and good, just let it be known that all independent dealers get their seed from the same source!  It’s so full of trickery that it literally boggles the mind.

Now we see that grocery stores are only carrying certain shapes and colors when it comes to fruits and vegetables, one of Monantos key selling points in their seed line are quicker yields, bigger yields, and a uniform shape and color.  When it comes to buying based on shape and color, do you think you can identify where that began, did it begin with Monsanto or with you the buyer?

In response to the weeds, we see a whole new area of concern emerging.

The idea initially is to be able to grow with the minimum of work on the farmers part.  We do away with plowing, pulling weeds by hand etc.  Now, we see an entire group of Glysophate resistant weeds springing up across the country.

No longer is the roundup working, further, the weeds that it once worked on have come back exponentially stronger and grow many times as fast.

The first resistant species to pose a serious threat to agriculture was found in a Delaware soybean field in 2000. Since then, the problem has spread, with 10 resistant species in at least 22 states infesting millions of acres, predominantly soybeans, cotton and corn, the primary and first modified plants for the Monsanto Company.

“The biotech industry is taking us into a more pesticide-dependent agriculture when they’ve always promised, and we need to be going in, the opposite direction.”  -Bill Freese, a science policy analyst for the Center for Food Safety in Washington.

Far from solving problems, farmers now find themselves where they were 20 years ago, plowing, which, excuse me for being silly, but I thought that was a key component of being a farmer, pulling weeds by hand and spraying now more, both in volume and toxicity, chemicals to control the weeds.  Chemicals as we learned earlier are taken in by the plant and delivered to us when we eat them…

Hmmmmm.

Farm experts say that such efforts could lead to higher food prices, lower crop yields, rising farm costs and exponentially greater pollution of land and water.

“It is the single largest threat to production agriculture that we have ever seen.”  -Andrew Wargo III, the president of the Arkansas Association of Conservation Districts.

Lastly they keep making the claim that what they are inserting is safe, and based on sound science and research “it” is safe, the problem is not what is being inserted, the problem is the process of insertion and the resultant product.  Little pieces of gold painted with chromosomes are fired into the nuclei of cells which then break apart the genetic double-helix and as it recombines it assimilates the new genetics and creates a new species.  To base the safety of a product using only its components and not the overall process and final product is about as tricky as one can hope to be!  For what is a thing if not the sum of its components?!?

Lastly, dong forget the lawsuits and strong arming tat Monsanto uses against farmers, from private detectives, helicopter fly-overs, local police forces all the way to the Supreme Court and even the laws of the land.

Parting thoughts for you to ponder…..

In speaking about their seed production process and their commitment to quality, ‘Regardless of what phase each of our pipeline products is in, every single one aims to make agriculture more productive, more profitable for farmers and more efficient and sustainable for our planet.’.  And yet,  everything they have created thus in the history of the company from its first product to now, is by far some of the most damaging products to ever grace the Planet and the Nature therein.

“Monsanto should not have to vouchsafe the safety of biotech food. Our interest is in selling as much of it as possible. Assuring its safety is the FDA’s job” – Phil Angell, Monsanto’s director of corporate communications.   This statement speaks volumes about the company and what they think of you.  Read again.

There is a new world forming, you will be a part of it, or you will be its burden, both for your family and self.  Make up your mind and use common sense as your guide….

In my humble estimation it has not been since the East India Trading Company that there has been a single company so very crucial to that of the government in which it was started.  As this company grows to an ever greater in its size and hold over the world as a multi-national corporation, the U.S. Gov’t will have to make more and more concessions, it will have to bow ever lower lest it lose the edge that the company currently gives it.  It is one thing to imagine this company rewriting natures laws in other countries under the control of the U.S. Gov’t, it is quite another story entirely to lose illusion of control and see the company find a new country to call home, a new master to serve, much as the genie in Alladins’ lamp, one must wonder does the genie work for me, or I for it?

I will leave you from a most fitting comment from the Bible as I can think of no better way to say the last 13 pages in one sentence so beautifully ironic as it pertains to the subject:

Matthew 7:1….  Wherefore by their fruits Ye shall know them.

Part 4 – What does GMO even mean, for me and for the world I live in?

What does GMO mean for you and who is affected by them?

Lets first look at who is most effected by GMO’s.   As a general rule of thumb, we know that corn, soy, wheat and cotton are now modified.  Given that a majority of the foods that are pre packaged in a grocery store that use these same basic ingredients in an ever increasing number of formulations and permutations; from cookies to pasta, bread, crackers, chips, oils, flavors, sweeteners, Et Cetera!  Basically if you eat anything that is pre packaged and contains one or more of those ingredients; corn, soy, wheat or cotton, you are affected!

Currently 70 percent of the foods in a supermarket are genetically modified…   And now the veggies are going that way as well.

The only real defense you have, and as time marches by this turns into “had”, is buying foods labeled “organic”, this is not a reliable defense as the term organic is currently going through some changes by the FDA and USDA and may no longer keep you safe from GMO as one of the primary tools used by Monsanto is the relative sameness of GMO and their natural counterparts.  In other words, the FDA is all for agreeing that a GMO corn exhibits enough general characteristics, and shared traits, that there is essentially no difference between the two, ergo, nothing further need be done.  It’s all good!

That’s weird, because corn A creates its own insecticide [BT Toxin, ruptures bugs stomaches] and corn B does not.

Speaking of corn, reminds me of potatoes, which always make me think of fries which invariably leads to me thinking of McDonalds and then, oh hey, did you know the president of McD’s sits on the Monsanto board of Directors…

Cancer and other fun health problems…

The reports for the carcinogenic effects of GMO’s is beginning to become overwhelming.  Scientists from around the world are finding more and more instances of cancers, food allergies, internal system failures, birth development/disabilities, etc., that all seem to point back to Monsanto.  Well, not Monsanto directly, but to GMO foods, which, currently Monsanto makes 70-90 percent of them globally, so, yeah, points back to Monsanto.  Monsanto’s own scientists urge further testing and I want you to guess what Monsanto’s response to all this has been…

C’mon, guess!

Give up?  Ok, I’ll tell you.

An increase in the speed at which new strains of GMO foods can be brought to market, by working with the FDA to ensure smooth transitioning of products as quickly as possible.  Much of this started with the Bush Sr. Presidential administration and was further enhanced by the Clinton administration.  One of the platforms for Mr. Bush’s election campaign was – DEREGULATION.

Let us not forget  to mention the huge amounts of disease related to the spraying of the “necessary” chemicals on the crops and the contamination of land and water.  RoundUp for instance has a long list of health problems associated with it use.

These plants, so you know,  have been engineered to work with RoundUp…  Now that my friends is weird, unless of course you think the human animal works better on a diet of complex chemical poisons

It should be noted by those of you who do not understand the whole situation with plants, they absorb everything in their environment.  Water, minerals from the soil, etc.  This is what makes plants so necessary in our lives, without them we would not have natural vitamins and minerals.  The cows and pigs you eat would not have any life to then give to your burgers and bacon, though of course the amount of actual plant mater is becoming less and less, they are actually eating primarily a mix of corn and, oddly enough, the recycled remains of other cows and as I was surprised to find out recycled remains of dogs and cats from animal shelters.

True story, but it is for another article, in the mean time look it up for yourself, rendering plants is  a good place to start.

Due to this proclivity of plants absorbing things, one can easily then make the inference that spraying copious amounts of herbicide or insecticide and in most cases both, will not bode well for the human eating said plant as these chemicals do not break down easily if at all.

A study done of roundup showed that after 30 days, it had degraded by 2 percent of its original spray potency.  This of course does not make for good eatin!

One of the many forerunners in the current debate over GMO foods and the subsequent seeming takeover of the global food supply by Monsanto is the inherent loss of bio diversity.  One of the worst recorded effects of loss of diversity and its relation to humans would be the Irish potato famine.

In looking at the Irish potato famine we see some a most startling comparison to what is currently happening in the United States and slowly the rest of the world.  Simply supplant The English Government with Monsanto and play the story through! – insert Irish potato famine wiki link

I digress.  The way land use and rights were set up in Ireland relating to their governance by the crown and the systems in place of the British Gov’t, it came to a point where the only crop capable of being grown a plenty with which the peasant farmers could survive upon was the garden variety potato.  Through an ever increasing demand by the land owners of the farmers, both in output of crops and for money for land leases, the farmer had no choice but to survive off potatoes and water.

At the height of this, there was a blight, in this case a fungus which ruined the potato, the result was a 20-25 percent decrease in the population of Ireland.

The similarities are so shocking and I hadn’t even drawn them until writing this article!  Imagine if all the imports of food to the US stopped what would you have left over from the US commercial farms considering that 70 percent of the farmland is growing GMO wheat, corn, soy and cotton.  Really think about it, because it is through not thinking that history always gains a foothold to repeat itself.

Imagine another scenario, imagine if we find out that this GMO food is truly damaging to the body, i.e., another 5 years of study until finally we feel we MUST pay attention.  Imagine if this food suddenly turns upon itself, or nature turns upon it, a blight upon the clean sheet of nature and God, shunned by the land itself and turned to dust.

While I speak poetically, it is already happening with Roundup resistant weeds.  Nature is turning, so to speak, against Monsanto.  More on this in a bit.

Loss of natural insects

Another very dire consequence of Monsanto and GMO products which is generally accepted by the scientific community, that Glysophate, or as braded and sold, RoundUp, is directly responsible for the loss of Bee’s.  As you may or may not know, if we were to lose the bee’s, food as we know it would end, this is a simple and unalterable fact of nature.  No food, no HUMANS.

And it doesn’t stop with RoundUp, the country of Poland banned the growing of a corn strain,  MON810.  Agriculture Minister Marek Sawicki, says that the pollen originating from this GM strain may actually be devastating the already dwindling bee population.
What is even scarier is that instead of striking at the root cause, the chemicals, Monsanto seems to want to now do what it does to fix anything, modify the cause and not focus on the problem.

Monsanto recently acquired the company Beeologics.  This company has been studying ways to help prevent bee colony collapse and identify the reasons behind it and was generally considered experts in the field by the USDA.

The USDA who also happens to own the terminator seed patent and is currently chaired by a former Monsanto employee.

What can we expect now that this company is owned by Monsanto?

Oh God…

One aspect of GMO use and that which is supported by the US Governments inclusion on the patent, is that of the Terminator seeds as mentioned earlier.  Currently Monsanto products are planted in over 200 million acres worldwide and the number is growing at an exponential rate.  Once a farmer is using Monsanto products, logistically it is EXTREMELY difficult to begin growing conventionally again.

That being said, why would you need guns when you could simply withhold food?  Monsanto is always there at any natural disaster to provide “Relief” to the affected country, many countries accept it some make moral statements such as Haiti and burn the seed on the docks.  I say ‘make statements’ as they end up planting it anyway!

At the current rate of consumption, Monsanto is definitely headed to being the number one seed supplier globally, and that they are aligned with all the other seed owning pharmaceuticals around the world, one could reasonably argue that they are already firmly in control!  What better weapon, again as I stated in the beginning of this, the last time I have seen a project  so very vile in nature and grand in scheme is the James Bond film Quantum of Solace, although that time it was water and it was only South America.  Now we have a real world threat that pertains to the WORLDS FOOD SUPPLY!  Who amongst us will fill Bonds role I wonder?

One place I did not expect to find Monsanto was the meat isle and ‘surprise surprise’ it seems Monsanto has it in for meat eaters as well as vegans!

Genetically altered pigs and cows, this, to me, displays a lack of basic humanity  to the core.  And yet, coming from a company that has dealt with scientists from the Third Reich to creating the first nuclear weapon, no, we needn’t even go there, though it is true, no, we need to again, look in the mirror.  Look at what humans have allowed themselves to be capable of.  Slavery of our own species exists to this day, anyone who buys a diamond wedding band has partaken in it!  Sex Slavery, Child Labor Slavery, Indentured Servitude, slavery is so far and wide, the slavery of animals is only just now beginning to pique the interest of the public.  In fact, it has become such a tipping point that may states are now providing criminal penalties for people caught or suspected of taking slaughterhouse video depicting the treatment therein.  Of course, many people simply refuse to watch it and continue about business as normal, for after all, that is the way of the masses.  To remain ignorant in such times is truly a bliss that is hard won.  It is a daily choice in order to remain ignorant and unchanging.

Part 3 – Damn the Farmers and Full Speed Ahead!

What Else is helping to contribute to their proliferation?

While it seems that things are only just beginning, that is largely, again, due to a general lack of education by the masses.  As we have read, things have been happening for some time now.  While most of it has been not general public knowledge, it has been the knowledge of the farming industry and yet, seemingly, there seems to be little to no help for us the consumer from that arena.

It isn’t on purpose to be sure.  Monsanto has used a most derisive and studious campaign against the very suppliers of food.  Some parts bullying and strong arming, others simply through the system of capitalism and finance, the average Mid Western farmer is now waaaay out of their depth.

There are myriad ways in which Monsanto is slowly taking over the growing practices of Farmers GLOBALLY.

Here in the USA, the methods are fairly direct and spit in the very face of freedom and the “Victory Gardens” that brought us to the forefront of the Global Community as a SuperPower.

One method is suing of farmers for apparently stealing the crop.  This is determined if there is any of the GM crop on the farmers field, which is verified by spraying the field with RoundUp.  If any crop survives, it is GM and therefore owned by Monsanto.  So now we have a twofold trap.  One, in order to prove or disprove an entire crop will be destroyed (assuming that it is not GM), and, if the crop is found, the farmer is sued and either then serves Monsanto or loses everything.

You may be thinking as I once was, “well, if the crop is there, the farmer obviously stole it!’.  Would it were so easy.  The seeds of Monsanto are much stronger than their conventional counterparts.  If they are planted in fields beside a non-Monsanto field, there are EXTREMELY high odds that the non GMO field will be cross pollinated and cause the non GMO plants to now become Genetically modified, it’s simply how it works, of course you may feel free to look it up!  Trucks that carry the seed from one place to another often lose seeds due to airflow over the bed of the truck, they blow out, and seeds will get into non GMO fields where they will grow and again, contaminate the rest of the crop.

Now perhaps you are thinking, well, if we know all of this, then it should be no problem to prove the farmer didn’t want that seed there and no harm no foul.  You are wrong.

Numerous states now, due to Monsanto lobbyists have enabled congress to push through what is commonly known as “Anti-Democracy” laws.  These laws are numerous, essentially a whole bundle of laws which block a farmer from counter suing or even initially suing if their fields are contaminated and all rights automatically go to Monsanto.  Further these laws prevent the local farmers and citizens from having a decision in the planting of GMO crops, it will be instead on the State level.  The state level of course being run by the very people who allowed the pro-Monsanto law to be passed, ergo, you know how that is going to go.

Further, Monsanto has now made it near impossible to save seeds via the FDA, by making seed cleaning equipment and procedures so convoluted in both paperwork and finance, as to be pointless, for instance, every specific strain of seed must have its own line of equipment, in many cases making the seed cleaning equipment itself illegal if it does not meet standards so ridiculously stringent that there is no point to owning it.

There are now numerous laws in place which require stringent controls over the cleanliness of actual seed during storage and its proximity to manure and other common conditions in the farm which make the average farmer trying to save seed go bankrupt.  It makes buying seed from Monsanto a much cheaper way to go.  These are laws of the land now upheld by the U.S. government, allowed by the people of the U.S.A.

It’s interesting to note that the laws prohibit use of seed that may be tainted by manure, but make no mention of seed tainted by pesticides and herbicides, and if you, a human are ever in your life given the choice to drink and herbi- or insecticide OR eat cow shit, go for the shit, at least you won’t die.  It will taste like, well, like shit, try drinking a quarter cup of any of the chemicals, I guarantee you will be OOC [Out of Commision] for days at the very least, and the whole time you will wish you were dead.

Perhaps now you’re thinking, well, no worries, we just take it to the Supreme Court.

While highly idealized, the road to the Supreme Court is EXTREMELY expensive, you must first wade through literally thousands of hours of litigation, moving through the local and state system before applying to be seen at the pinnacle of law for the land.  The average farmer who is usually in debt compared to a multinational giant will never make it this far.

Should they somehow be able to pull it off, they will find themselves in front of U.S. Supreme Court Judge Clarence Thomas.  In every case that has come before Mr. Thomas he has ALWAYS ruled in favor of Monsanto.  Every case concerning Monsanto that reaches the U.S. Supreme Court goes before Mr. Thomas.

Judge Clarence Thomas was head legal counsel for Monsanto before becoming a US Supreme Court Judge.

Are you beginning to have an understanding?

In addition to this one huge roadblock to democracy, there are many other ways that this is continuing to happen unabated and regardless of scientific data showing that GMO’s and the procedures required for them to grow, may not be the best thing for humans or the planet.

For one, there is a revolving door policy to the US Government, many people do not know about it and yet, that is due to a simple lack of research and education.  What this refers to is, well, we just spoke about it.  Judge Clarence Thomas would be an apt demonstration of the revolving door and how it helps Monsanto be in the position that it is.

Based on what we have seen with this policy, once Mr. Thomas retires from his position as a U.S. Supreme Court judge, he will be offered a position once again within the Monsanto group of corporations.

This is currently in play for the key members in the FDA, the EPA, the US Dept. of Agriculture.  The come from Monsanto and go back to Monsanto.   This is true of many aspects of our lives, from Meat and Dairy industry to pharmaceutical and weapons manufacturers.  They all have a voice in the US Gov’t, and yet, where is YOURS?

I’m hoping that by now you are wondering how they even got control over plants in the first place?

This has been done, again, though our court system and is largely tied to many lawsuits and confusion involving medicine and owning certain strains of let’s say, cancer and other diseases.  The owning of “Disease” is an extremely profitable market in which a company that wishes to test a drug, must first lease the genes involved for trial from the company that owns the particular strain of said disease!

Monsanto, lest you forget is one of the major players in the pharmaceutical industry…  This company is no joke, seriously.

This later played so well into Monsanto’s hand.  It is also crucial in that they still do not own the actual product.. YET.  They own traits of said product which is why they sue for having their version of corn on your field and not corn in general.  There is still time to take back food.

Currently 90 percent of GMO’s in the world being grown belong to Monsanto.  70 percent of corn, soy, wheat and cotton grown in the US are Monsanto owned and that number is growing, eventually they will essentially “own “ by default all of the corn, soy, wheat and cotton.

Tricky, Tricky…

Another very tricky and little known, though easily verified; all of this is easily verified via the internet and if you are truly diligent, backed up in books all over the world, none of this is difficult to find, it is in the open to be sure, albeit in a scattered sort of way which is why I am putting it together for you, very basically of course, in a personal renewed effort to try and bring some respect and self sufficiency back to the citizens of the United States of America.

So, tricky, Monsanto co-owns the terminator seed patent with USDA.  Your first though may be, what does that even mean…

T.’s – Genetic Use Restriction Technologies, make the subsequent harvest of seeds for replanting from the initial harvest IMPOSSIBLE,  i.e., if you plant this here seed of corn once it matures, all of its seed will be sterile, you will not be able to plant them and reap another harvest, you will instead have to go back to the company [Monsanto] and purchase another set of seed and do this every year hence forth and so on and so on and so on and so on and so on and so on and, oh my, what are we doing with our planet?

This all became a reality in March 1998 when the US Patent Office granted Patent No. 5,723,765 to Delta & Pine Land (which Monsanto then purchased in 2007) for a patent titled, Control of Plant Gene _Expression. The patent is owned jointly, according to Delta & Pine’s Security & Exchange Commission 10K filing, ‘by D&PL and the United States of America, as represented by the Secretary of Agriculture.’

The patent has global coverage and during more in depth research of the official D&PL SEC [Securities and Exhange Commision] filing, ‘The patent broadly covers all species of plant and seed, both transgenic (GMO-ed) and conventional, for a system designed to allow control of progeny seed viability without harming the crop’(sic),’ and,  D&PL claims, ‘One application of the technology could be to control unauthorized planting of seed of proprietary varieties…by making such a practice non-economic since non-authorized saved seed will not germinate, and, therefore, would be useless for planting.’

Again – …both transgenic AND CONVENTIONAL…  So they will also own the plant your parents grew up with.  I hope you are asking yourself how this is even possible.

The overall use of this technology is sadly put into clear focus when we read the following, again, taken directly from the patent… ‘the prospect of opening significant worldwide seed markets to the sale of transgenic technology in varietal crops in which crop seed currently is saved and used in subsequent seasons as planting seed.’

WOW, mans saving seed for thousands of years and bringing the humans on this planet to this point will now be wiped out with bureaucracy for the sake of money all because the citizens, YOU, did nothing.

That is truly what the business model for these seeds is, the areas where people save seeds from year to year is now being targeted for this product.  WOW.  Really, what a world we find ourselves to day if only we open our eyes to what is happening.

Keep in mind, this is what is currently happening.  You do understand that, it is happening right now and has been happening since the ‘90’s…

One thing I find most interesting of all is that on the Monsanto website you will read, ‘Monsanto has never developed or commercialized a sterile seed product. Sharing many of the concerns of small landholder farmers, Monsanto made a commitment in 1999 not to commercialize sterile seed technology in food crops. We stand firmly by this commitment. We have no plans or research that would violate this commitment in any way.

And yet, there is a patent that says not only are they made, but they are ready to use as they have potential scenarios already in mind, and that I the beauty of their Public Relations campaign, for we know that they DIDN’T create the seeds, they merely bought the company later on, and yes, they haven’t made them public… yet.  For as we continue reading, we see them talk about if they ever were to make them public, i.e. commercialize them, they would first ask the shareholders.

Thank goodness for that, we see how the shareholders are looking out for everyone’s best interest so far!

We will be talking about terminator or GURT seeds later as they are potentially the foremost tool for warfare.  Control the Food/Water, you control the people.  Think, US FOREIGN aid…

This is by far one of the loudest platforms to the public sector, i.e., you and I, which is used to explain why we “need” a company Monsanto.

In using the rapidly expanding rate of humans as a soap box, Monsanto is legitimizing its slow takeover of food.  By extolling the virtues of increased yield and lack of loss due to drought, insects etc., they hope to achieve a world in which no one starves.

But, that’s a lie.

A little research on this and we find it is a total sham.  For this explanation, I introduce you to Tristram Stuart who is most noted for his work in just how much food we waste per day on a global scale and why we waste it.

Surprisingly, one of the foremost reasons mentioned for throwing away food is that it doesn’t “look” right for sale to the public.  Coupled with laws of the land and insurance companies and all else that go into our modern lives, this food must be destroyed.  This is, in essence, you the food purchasers direct influence.

The labeling.  Monsanto fought and lost the rBGH labeling fight with milk, but recently won the California Proposition 37 fight.  This win, was a huge success for Monsanto as California is of such crucial import to the way the rest of the country does things.  California was once one of the bigger economies in the world, so this win is huge.

This win kept labels off foods containing GMO’s.  Had this won, we may have seen a sudden turnaround in the direction our food is going.  For instance, once labeling happened with milk, many people quit buying milk from cows treated with rBGH, to the point that largest producers of cheese and milk had to convince people that it wasn’t in their milk as they were losing too many customers once the research came out linking this to all manner of disease, especially focused on pregnant mothers and new born babies.

Now, had the labeling law been enacted, I firmly believe that we would have seen a veritable food apocalypse.  Can you imagine people suddenly realizing that over half the foods they ate were GMO, hell, half the people buying the food don’t even know this is going on all of a sudden, they would walk into the super market and half the food they take home, for some all of the food taken home would have this new label on it.  There would have been a surge of interest and in that surge a good many facts would have come out which may have been debilitating to the current plan to modify the food supply!

What else is happening to allow this company to continue with a relatively insane business idea?

The website itself is written in a very beautiful form of Layerese.  Facts are turned round upon themselves and language is written so delicately about such deep and troublesome subjects that at the end you truly believe that this company is here for you.

In one instance regarding Agent Orange, Monsanto states, ‘We believe that the adverse consequences alleged to have arisen out of the Vietnam War, including the use of Agent Orange, should be resolved by the governments that were involved.’

Hmmm, well, quite a response if I do say so myself.

Many many such instances are found on the website, I invite you to take a look.  Look carefully, one such instance is the one mentioned before that shows just how deep they will go with wordsmithing – Terminator seeds.

In every case, Monsanto is diverting responsibility to others, and in some cases, to the “Old Monsanto”, remember them, when the company in 2000 broke into old and new.  Amazing, what is more amazing is that people accept this.  Again, the problem isn’t Monsanto, it’s we the people that allow it to happen.  Never for a moment divest yourself of blame as Monsanto is doing, you are the consumer, ergo, you are at fault.

How It Came To Be So…  A Brief and Cheery History of Monsanto.

“The Company” was started in 1901 by a Mr. John Francis Queeny, in St. Louis Missouri, once a great hub, if not the hub of industry for the United States as it essentially connected the East and West.  I learned this when I rode through it on my bicycle.

For me the sugar company roots of her, Mrs. Queeny’s, maiden name MONSANTO, father in Puerto Rico seem to be a key component of the Monsanto corporations success with their first notable business boom, Saccharin, which was then sold to Coca-Cola.  Saccharin as you may or may not know is an artificial sweetener that has a most dubious history and appears to only have made it through the FDA with much pressure from Monsanto itself and the odd fact that many personnel from Monsanto end up in the US government in strategic roles, strategic to its own ends of course, and vice versa, many US Government personnel will end up in Monsanto or its subsidiary companies once they decide to put their public servant (HA!), lives to a close or at the very least in a few cases, a brief hiatus…

With the success of Saccharin now under Monsanto’s belt, the movement went towards other food related additives and compounds, such as Vanillin, which is used as flavoring in foods.  This is a cash “crop” so to speak, as demand for vanilla far outpaces the ability of vanilla beans to supply, further in the 70’s more than half the worlds vanillin was used in the production of fine chemicals, these are very complex, single, and pure chemicals used in production of most all chemical compounds; from pharmaceuticals to agrochemicals.

This new endeavor was accompanied by Aspirin, which goes without saying the enormous demand that follows that pill, Salicyclic Acid (active ingredient in Aspirin and in anti-acne treatments, like Oxy, who knew!) and rubber processing chemicals.

We now see Monsanto’s first international corroboration in the form of a partnership with Graesser’s Chemical Works in Wales, England.

The year is now 1920 and the company is now beginning to produce Sulfuric acid, which is a principal substance in the chemical industry, uses range from domestic drain cleaners, mineral processing, oil refining, fertilizer manufacturing, wastewater processing, chemical synthesis and lead-acid batteries.  The company also now starts producing PCB’s, or by their true name, PolyChlorinated Biphenal’s.  PCB’s most commonly used in coolant systems, from your cars AC to temperature regulation of high power electricity devices such as transformers and also in commonplace items like wallpaper and household paints, adhesives and many others due to their fire retardant capabilities.  PCB’s would later be considered by some, the most toxic substance created by man.

Worldwide the production has thought to be completely ended as of 2000, due to all countries uniformly outlawing them.

The environmental damage done due to dumping legal and illegal is beyond estimate, and the cost of properly destroying the chemicals is so high and complex that it is not used and the entire situation has essentially been swept under the rug so to speak.  You can still see completely sealed off buildings which are contaminated with PCB’s in the U.S. which will remain that way until they fall down of their own accord.  They aren’t torn down as there is no safe place to put the scraps, that’s how toxic this stuff is… Wow.

It is interesting to note the highest concentrations of airborne PCB contaminants is found in City Centers and gradually reduces as one moves away from the center.  Some places where there was a large amount of dumping, in the U.S. – Indiana, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Massachusetts and the Great Lakes will be polluted for many years to come, well into your children’s children lives if not farther.  The site in Wales England where Monsanto created this product continues to leak into groundwater supplies to this very day.

Now the year is 1940-ish and we see Monsanto getting involved in some very interesting work indeed.

An executive for Monsanto, a Mr. Charles Allen Thomas who was married to a Mrs. Margaret Talbott, obtained the use of their families Runnymede Playhouse on the Talbott estate, in order to extract and refine the polonium to be used in the neutron triggering devices that cause detonation.  The Playhouse was not able to return to its former use as a community playhouse with indoor squash, tennis courts and ballroom as it was simply too radioactive and later had to be buried in Tennessee, some distance from its original location in Dayton, Ohio.  This was the Dayton project.

The Mound Laboratory was part of the Dayton Works, the program to develop Nuclear Weapons in accordance with the Manhattan Project, which was the overall program controlled by the United States Army in partnership with Canada and the United Kingdom.  This site and the project itself was managed by the Monsanto corporation.

At the same time we are building nuclear weapons, Monsanto begins the manufacture of  DDT or as it is truly known DichloroDiphenylTrichloroethane.  First synthesized in 1874, its insecticide properties were later discovered in 1939 and it was used with great success in treating outbreaks of Malaria and Typhus in the second half of WWII.  In 1944 Monsanto along with 15 other companies [most of which were or would be connected to Monsanto] begin its production, ultimately allowing in 1948 for Swiss Scientists Paul Herman Muller to receive the Nobel prize for discovering its efficacy against bugs.   In 1962 a book by Rachel Carson named Silent Spring was published about the negative effects of indiscriminate spraying of poisons, focused on DDT, and this is generally considered the birth of the Environmental Movement.

It was then banned in the USA in 1972 after a long list of law suits, counter suits, and a general public distrust of industry.  Even with the ban in ’72, as late as 1995 over 300 tons were distributed to foreign markets.  Distributed from the U.S.

The ban became global with the Stockholm Convention in 2004 for agricultural use and is now only permittable for vector controls and of course it is still used illegally.  The U.S. Ban is considered by scientists as the main reason the U.S. Bald Eagle, the irony, made a return from the brink of extinction.  Apparently DDT weakens egg shells to the point of killing he yet unborn baby chics.

Skipping ahead to 1954 we see a partnership with the German company Bayer in order to create a sub company – Mobay, to market polyurethanes in the US.  It can only be assumed that Bayers initial attempts at marketing were thwarted by the companies in-depth involvement with WWII and their use of Slave Labor in concentration camps and that they were one of the primary manufacturers of the infamous, Zyklon B, the gas used to kill concentration camp inmates – en masse.

Further, it should be documented that the executive of Bayer at that time of the war, Fritz Tee Meer was imprisoned during the Nuremburg War Crimes Tribunal for 7 years, after which he was re-instated as head of the supervisory board of Bayer in 1956.  This was of course during the time that Monsanto was working with them to sell plastics to all of your parents and grandparents, many of whom died fighting those men.

Irony.

Further, it should be known that the trajectory and overall business model of Bayer and Monsanto are essentially the same.  Consisting of an Umbrella corporation which directly controls the actions of a myriad of subsidiary holdings around the world, including but not limited too – pharmaceuticals, chemicals, weapons, agricultural, technological and of course, ones that we will never know of.

As an aside, it is interesting to note that Bayer was the company who discovered and marketed  Heroin – diacetylmorphine, and was sold under their label as a cough treatment up until WWI.

The joint company created by Monsanto and Bayer, Mobay was almost sued in the 1990’s by the US Gov’t as they refused to sell a chemical which is crucial in the development of Sarin Gas, an extremely lethal nerve agent that has many similarities to convention insecticide.  The true depth of this one fact may leave those of you who delve deeply equal parts shocked, relieved and perhaps filled with a little [or a lot of] WTF…?

There were many more “first’s”, from pharmaceuticals, to LED’s, the technology that would make the proliferation of digital clocks and watches possible, to Astro-Turf, one of my personal most despised inventions by man, fake grass .

The next paragraph will be the crux of what brings us to where we are today, it is one of the single most important applications of knowledge and business principle by Monsanto.  What is it…?

One of the most important firsts for Monsanto was the application of its pharmaceutical business model to Agriculture.  Not exactly what Hippocrates [considered globally as the originator of medicine] was thinking when he said, “Let food be thy medicine and thy medicine be thy food.”.

In 1985 Monsanto picked up the G.D. Searle Company for 2.7 BILLION in CASH.  In Cash…  This was then spun off into the Nutrasweet company, foremost maker of Aspartame.  We now have two of the world’s most controversial sweeteners owned by the same company.  Both sweeteners are in never ending review for their carcinogenic properties and the highly sketchy way that they were both allowed into the mainstream by the FDA which, coincidentally has been chaired at numerous times by former Monsanto employees and government officials who later become Monsanto employees.

In 1994 Monsanto made available to the world rBGH – which stands for Recombinant Bovine Growth Hormone.  This allows, in relation to their other invention rBST – Recombinant Bovine Somatotropin, for the increased “yield” of milk from an individual cow by mimicking the naturally occurring hormones resultant from pregnancy .  This was then marketed under the name Posilac and was later sold to Eli Lilly (2008), for cash and “additional consideration”.

The hormone rBGH in the cow, drastically increases mastitis, an extremely painful infection of the udder, which for many of you is no big deal, HOWEVER, this leads to exponential increases of antibiotics and pus in the milk you drink.  In fact 70% of all antibiotic use in the U.S.A. is for livestock, which is why we now have ever increasing amounts of superbugs.

Further, rBGH is currently outlawed in most countries around the world, including Canada which is usually lockstep with USA FDA regulations.

In 1996 we see the purchase of Agracetus and Dekalb, Dekalb being the premier producer of corn seed and genetically engineered corn seed as of their joint venture with Pfizer pharmaceuticals in 1982, resulting in Dekalb –Pfizer genetics which was later changed to Dekalb Corp in 1985 and the seed business was Dekalb Genetics and was a standalone company by 1988.  Agracetus was the company that had pioneered genetically modified cotton of which Monsanto had licensed the tech since 1991, and the company that created the Flavr Savr tomato.

By the year 2000, Monsanto had separated itself into two separate companies, both named Monsanto and both having the same corporate offices.  One is responsible for all lawsuits resulting from the myriad chemical catastrophes, the other is solely responsible for advanced genetic research in the agricultural field.  It also helps to protect stock prices and as time goes by, the New Monsanto can further separate itself from the Old Monsanto, thereby hiding its past.  We all know about hiding of ones past.

In 2007 in order to purchase one of the largest genetic cotton suppliers, it had to divest itself of its other cotton holdings, the largest of which was sold to BAYER, whom we know they worked extensively with since WWII.  It is during this same time that Monsanto let go of it’s genetic program dealing with swine and sold its Newsham Genetics which remixes pigs.

Oh, you may not have known, it isn’t just vegetables, it is BEEF and PORK as well…  Vegans AND meat eaters are up the creek.

As of 2008 with the purchase of de Ruiter Seeds, Monsanto became the largest seed holder in the world.  It is also very interesting to note that ALL of the world’s leading conventional seed suppliers are now owned by pharmaceutical companies.  It is also important to note that as of this time, Monsanto is now 100 percent in the Agricultural business.  All other business, according to the public eye, have been sold off.  Monsanto only does Agriculture.  It is also interesting to note that all sell offs, except for one of their smaller cotton companies, have been sold to friends of Monsanto, long term partners, which begs the question, have they been sold off or has  the Monsanto family grown new branches on an infinitely confusing family tree…

At this point, Monsanto is now working very closely with Pfizer, Eli Lilly, Bayer, Pharmacia Upjohn and BASF.  If you know anything about this, you would do well to be very wary of a  web made of these companies.

 

Part 1 – Monsanto and how we allow this to happen by way of our Children…

If you Eat Food, Please Read…

This is written for those of you reading who eat food.

You are what YOU eat.

All facts  and situations written about below may be found in multiple locations on the internet, the real world [farmers, scientists], your supermarket and of course, books.

While this article is mean to display the dire need to have our food put back into the hands of the common man, the UN-conventional/commercial farmer and individual growers seeking to feed their family, please do not for a moment think that I am not in awe of what this company, Monsanto, has created, and with the zeal they display in their slow yet steady march for control the Global Food Supply.

My awe does not sway my opinion however, they are batshit crazy in their aim.

In fact the depth and breadth of what is happening with this single company has been recently paralleled in the James Bond film, Quantum of Solace, where the villain SPECTRE (Special Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion – Amazing how close Mr. Flemming was when it came to the irony government) sought control of the water supply of South America and ultimately the rest of the globe.  Be it water or food, the result is the same is it not?

If anyone person or group of people were to control the water or food supply, they would in fact control the world… wouldn’t they…  Do you understand this basic fact?  Its very important that you see the connection.

You are what you eat and if you stop eating, you will die.

Many of you reading this do not even know this company exists and yet you use the products of this company on a daily basis and in the course of many of your lives, you use them ALL DAY.  Odd that you wouldn’t even know of this company, and for those of you who do know this company, I assure you that whatever you know is a tip of the iceberg.  Whatever you think, hasn’t been thoroughly thought through, the ramifications of this company’s impact on your, OUR lives and that of the planet are so cloaked in shadow and circumspection that until you spend a week or so contemplating to the true genius and then, the breadth and scope of what is happening, you may not feel the need to spring into action of any sort, and I guess that’s the point.

I say all this as I am continually learning about this company and I have realized that I shall never know the true depth of this corporation.  I dare say that many of the employees, even the heads of entire divisions do not have a clue.  The size is simply too large, its reach now fully encircles the globe.

For those of you who know about the Monsanto corporation, you may find yourself asking, “Why reinvent the wheel [plants] when you can be spending all this money [hundreds of Billions] on figuring out the myriad problems we are currently faced with?”.  To now knowingly add further problems, I say knowingly, as the very procedures and rights of trial by jury are in fact now rigged to ensure that they are all circumvented for sake of speedy delivery to market, what motive could there possibly be other than that of profit.  In a world where our government is constantly toting profit over people, what are we to discern from their collusion with this entity?

And let us hope that the lust for ever increasing profits is their only aim.  For truly, an endeavor such as this could have much more dire consequences than fattened bank accounts.  You, the consumer, could find yourself living in a most deliberately changed world one day and you will have nothing to say but “meep”.

No one likes to say meep.

I used to always hear in my sales training, it is easier to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission, if you see a golden opportunity, go for it.  I would say Monsanto is doing just that to a degree beyond the scope of reality, and perhaps that is how they manage to fly under everyone’s radar, the scope is simply too grand in design for it to even register in the average persons brain.

But then, what can one expect from a company that seeks to patent the very food you eat?

First we have to look at ourselves and why it is possible for this to even be happening.  Then we need to understand the growth, or history of the company in order to fully understand the magnitude and reach on a global scale, from there we can enter into conversation and conjecture, finally closing with a very real look at the actual results they have achieved and if it is actually the boon to mankind they try to represent or if indeed it is a extremely large can of shinola which we will all be eating from sooner or later.  Literally.

How Did we get to this place in time where a Single Company is poised to take control of the “Food Supply” of the planet?

We Seek Complete Control of the Worlds Food Supply – purportedly said by a Monsanto official (with no evidence of the officials name or at what point it was said), which should not even be bothered to be re-recorded here if not for the company’s current direction and history.

While this may seem very ostentatious indeed, and surely for the person who struggles to pay bills on a daily basis,  the full extent of this madness will undeniably be lost in the details and the fact that it doesn’t seem to be an immediate threat, even more so.   The very idea that any one company could position themselves to own the worlds food supply is madness at best.   And yet it is due to our own lethargy in action which allows for this to be occurring.

Especially when we consider that fact that most children in school do not know the names of vegetables, nor do they know how they are grown, nor where they “come from”.

We aren’t even getting into proper nutrition yet!  Proper nutrition being proportions, vitamins and minerals, exercise, all that further makes us, well, us.

As most children do not know the names of common vegetables nor the reasons to eat them, we can then therefore assume, since the foremost teacher of a child is its parent, that the parents do not have grasp on the import of food.  Further, it is obvious that for the most part, the schools we send our children do not see the need to educate humans on what it is to be human.

You are what You eat.

This is a key element in Monsanto’s ability to do what it is doing, and for most of the major food brands to sell food that is decidedly not food.  Food, being by definition that which fuels the body, is now largely anything but.  These days the average food is more a chemical intruder that must be processed out of the body with all haste possible.  One need only look at current health statistics for confirmation of this fact.  Silly me, we need only look at what the average school passes off as “breakfast” or “lunch” to get the idea of just how miserably we are failing the FUTURE OF OUR SPECIES.

The human body is made up of trillions of cells.  Each and every cell/system in the human body needs a certain amount of vitamins, minerals, water, fat, sugars, proteins, carbs, etc. to run correctly.  If it does not get what it needs, you will get some form of sickness.  As you are a human being who is not genetically modified, your food must be of the most organic form possible with the widest variety available to you so that you may get all you need.  Every step away from ORGANIC and NATURAL makes it a bit more difficult for the body to function correctly as now it must deal with unnatural elements and chemicals which are nothing but trash to be taken out.

Hanks to the current food system in place, we must even be wary of Organic and Natural, in fact, did you know that the USDA now requires a minimum of 94% organic ingredients in order to label something 100 percent organic.

Wait, what?  Yes, you read correctly.  Our system has been whipplsnapificated by the very people you rely on to keep you safe.

It is easier for a thief to steal when they are not found out.  And if the ignorance of the theft and what exactly is being stolen in the first place can be made generational, all the better for a long term theft on a global scale.

As the education of our children is so very key, and that you may not believe in the true disparity between what we think children know and what they actually know, I now turn to a TedTalks video with Jamie Oliver.

Mr. Oliver is a World Renowned Chef and Activist and has a British accent which we all know makes all the difference for our puerile American ears.

When you see this video, you will be shown in the lower right hand of the screen, “What to Watch Next.” .  I invite you to watch the ones by Dean Ornish, and Mark Bittman.  If you do not take a moment from time to time to educate yourself on food, how do you ever expect your diet to change for the better?  Surely by now most of you believe that we are what we eat…. No?

Children in French schools in France, that’s a country over there, to the right of the USA on a map, where French fries came from, these children were asked to draw a chicken in a country wide sampling of basic education.

They drew a roast chicken in a pan.

Can that really be accidental, are we merely forgetting to educate children in basics…?

That people have a basic overall lack of knowledge, not to mention a near complete lack of how their bodies work in relation to everything; many do not have the slightest clue about digestion or what makes muscles work.  It is simply known that something makes the muscles work the fingers to pull back the pop top of the soda and peel off the wrapper of the microwave jiffy meal.

Many people do not see the importance of chewing food properly, the most fundamental process for your ENTIRE digestive process, and a “secret” to longevity in every centenarian I have ever read or had the pleasure of seeing interviewed by the weatherman, what was his name…?

They have a body, but feel completely helpless should anything go wrong.  This is due to a fundamental lack of knowledge about one of the most important things you will ever “have” in your life, your body.

I know this may seem like I am covering the same ground in myriad ways, and I am in fact doing so as I truly hope at least one of you will leave this article with a new plan forming…

In this lack of understanding it is the smallest leap to seeing how easy it is for a person to then not understand why nutrition is important, it merely becomes a word that may or may not fit their socioeconomic status.  What I mean is that the word itself is a tool to be used.  Many do not feel that nutrition is within the allowable constraints of what they consider their lives, it is above their “paygrade” and hence they eat accordingly.  Fast foods, pre-packaged chemical GMO mixes made with all the love one would expect of serial murderers.

To help you understand what I mean with socioeconomic class eating, as we go up in class structure, we see better meals, but this isn’t due to the people themselves necessarily.  This is a byproduct of having more money and a slightly better education.

The places they go and shop have generally better products, or at least a greater diversity of products.  There is more “TIME” at the family level and meals begin to take on at least the guise of the “traditional” home-owning family.  Namely, one in which a family meal is considered important.  In trying to keep to the ideal of this mental family image, the meals will naturally tend to be slightly healthier than the fast food of the family in the economic status below.  This is a sweeping generalization and should be read as such.

Now, as with anything, from cars to literature to education, as we move up the rungs of the socio-economic ladder, we see the quality and ingredients used,  increase at a near exponential level.  Of course, food follows suit.  One only need go into any “high end” grocer to see the difference between a Whole Foods Market and the Walmart food section.

Let it be known that Whole Foods has also agreed to sell GMO foods.

It should be noted that much of what I am writing is a generalization.  That at all levels there are those who fully understand the impact of diet on health and eat accordingly. 

It is through a general lack of education in the fundamental idea of diet and “what to eat”, makes possible the subjugation of food, after all, once you have the person eating subjugated, the next step, naturally, is subjugation of what they eat.  Its what is done in prisons, in third world countries, it is through the withholding of foreign aid, Henry Kissinger was very good at this, it is through control of food you control people.  First you must gain a basic control f the people or they wont let you control their food.

That’s the beauty of America, give the citizens remote controls and you have them… hook, line and sinker.

One of the most deplorable examples of this general lack of education/control, is the simple fact that anyone may grow a garden and yet so few do.  Many languish in the idea that they are doomed to poor food quality, when a bit of sweat, some seeds and a modicum of education will allow for such a bounty as to be near magical in nature.  Yet, we see very few people doing this, especially those of the lower economic status, those who would benefit MOST, do it least!?  This is 100 percent due to education and nothing more.

Of course in many places you will hear and read stories of people being fined by cities for having vegetable gardens, most recently there is a family in Florida who is under the gun.

The overall system of educating humans has been, in my estimation, subjugated towards an end goal of serving the state and not the individual.  Of course, not the state that people are led to believe they are voting for.

Now we must look at the history of the company that is making the most use of this lack of generalized education of not only the body but the nature of eco-systems and the planet whole.
