Mulegé smoothie… yum, yum…

Mulegé is rad. Definitely. We didn’t plan on staying here, after Santa Rosalía we thought of going straight to Santispac about ten miles south from here, a beautiful beach and stay camping there a day or two…  the heat coming here was so hard that by the time we reached Mulegé, we had no energy for those ten miles, figured we could rest here for the night and carry on the next morning early… it’s been four days and we are still finding reasons to stay each morning, having the best time with some rad people!!

At the moment we’re staying with a super cool couple in their small house that is such a sweet spot! one of the reasons it’s so sweet are the numerous fruit plants around; we have figs, bananas, different type of mangoes… time for a smoothie!! and nothing beats collecting your food from your garden!!!  so put everything on the blender and enjoy. This recipe is loaded with potassium, and vitamins, depending on your appetite, this is serves for about two people;)

2 banana -an excellent source of potassium and B6 vitamin, therefore a good staple food for athletes!!

6 fresh figs -a good source of vitamin K, more potassium, magnesium, calcium and manganese.

1 orange -loading you up with some good C vitamin

2 mangoes

2 teaspoons chlorella powder -we try to have some chlorella or spirulina with us always, a punch of protein, iron, clorophyll and so many vitamins and minerals.

2 teaspoons bee pollen -not considered vegan but we do have some every now and then, suuuuuper nutritious, great for your immune and nervous systems specially.

1 tablespoon hemp seeds
