Sparrows

The birds, sparrows I’m guessing, or whatever it is that hangs out in cornfields at 4 in the afternoon in Western Oklahoma, in the autumn, November to be exact, blustery no less, winter is inbound to be sure…

at first I though they were a giant school of black butterflies, but then, they were to big, but the way they moved as one, almost like a school of fish, they too, like the falcon, were surfing the wind, but they would surf it all as one, up and down, some times the bunch would thin out and cross the route 66, then they would fall back together tightly on one side of the road, up an down, it looked like a sparrow ballet…

maybe not having a camera isn’t so bad, especially since the person i left it with will be coming to see me this weekend!
